Final Thoughts

Is Lost Origin Worth it?

TL;DR: Yes — this is one of the most talked-about sets from the Sword & Shield era, and for good reason!

The big chase is the Giratina V alt art, which has become a modern grail card with its wild, abstract artwork. But the set doesn’t stop there — you’ve also got fan favorites like Aerodactyl V alt art, Rotom, and the Hisuian forms showing up in some really creative designs.

Lost Origin also includes the Trainer Gallery, so even if you don’t hit a big legendary, you’ve got chances at gorgeous cards like Pikachu with Red or Gengar lounging in a hallway. It makes opening packs feel more rewarding because there are layers of possible hits.

The only catch is the pull rates — they can be pretty rough, and chasing Giratina in sealed product can get expensive. But if you’re into bold artwork and want some of the most iconic cards of the era, Lost Origin is an easy yes.
