Where do you find the Set Symbol?
The set symbol is usually located near the card number in the bottom left corner of the card. On older cards, such as Jungle and Fossil, the symbol is typically found in the lower right corner of the artwork. On modern cards, this is often replaced with a set abbreviation instead of a symbol (for example, PRE for Prismatic Evolutions).
What is a Set Symbol?
Every Pokémon TCG expansion has a unique set symbol printed on each card. This small icon shows which set a card belongs to and is one of the easiest ways to identify older Pokémon cards.
