What are the Pull Rates?
Pull rates in Stellar Crown are almost identical to what we saw in Twilight Masquerade — with one big difference.
This time, it’s actually easier to pull the exact card you're hunting for.
That’s not because the odds on rarities have changed (they almost haven’t). Based on data from thousands of packs(thanks to the amazing folks at TCGPlayer), rarities like Double Rares, Ultra Rares, Illustration Rares, and even ACE SPECS all appear at nearly the same rates as recent sets. But Stellar Crown has a much smaller Secret Rare pool — just 33 cards compared to 59 in Twilight Masquerade — which makes a big difference when it comes to chasing your favorites.
For example, your odds of pulling a Special Illustration Rare Terapagos ex are nearly twice as good as pulling something like SIR Greninja ex from Twilight Masquerade. Fewer rares = better odds for you.
Is Stellar Crown Worth it?
TL;DR: With only 33 Secret Rares, Stellar Crown makes it easier than ever to pull your favorite chase cards — so if you’ve been on the fence, this is a great set to try your luck with.
With the long-awaited debut of Terapagos in both regular and stunning SIR form, the adorably domesticated Squirtle Illustration Rare, and a handful of shiny new ACE SPEC cards, this set delivers on both style and collectibility. It’s also a smaller set compared to recent expansions, which means better odds of pulling that one card you’re chasing.
Sure, rarities like Hyper Rares are still tough to hit (no surprise there), but the overall pull rates are fair — and there’s plenty of excitement in every tier. And hey, if you don’t hit it in a pack? Singles are always there to save the day.
