The Pokémon TCG has kicked off celebrations for its milestone year with an exciting first look at the upcoming 30th Anniversary set. While details are still pretty scarce, here’s a complete breakdown of every card revealed so far!

Every Booster Pack will include 1 of 30 Pikachu cards

Every card is foil, including Basic Energy

The main set will include 128 cards. The number of secret rares and Classic collection have no be revealed yet.

Pikachu Promos

A brand-new 30th Celebration Futuristic Box is coming to Japan on September 16, releasing alongside the set itself.

The highlight of the box is a pair of exclusive Pikachu ex "Futuristic Rare" promo cards, with one featuring a bright daytime theme and the other showcasing a nighttime counterpart. The collection will also include a range of premium Pokémon TCG accessories designed around the futuristic anniversary theme.

New Reveal!
Espeon & Umbreon Deck

The Espeon ex and Umbreon ex 30th Celebration Premium Deck Set has finally been officially revealed after first being teased several months ago.

This special anniversary product includes two ready-to-play 60-card decks, one centered around Espeon ex and the other around Umbreon ex. Even better, both Pokémon will receive stunning Special Illustration Rare cards, making the set an instant must-have for Eeveelution collectors.

Classic Collection?

The cards below were revealed in the initial teaser and the Base set Charizard as well as the Pikachu & Zekrom Tag Team has been officially revealed, so this may be our Classic Collection. For now we’ll have to wait and see.

30th Anniversary Set Details

When will the Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary set be released?

The 30th Anniversary Pokemon TCG set will be released simultaneously worldwide on September 16, 2026. While only a preview has been shown so far, The Pokémon Company is expected to more details, preorders, and special event tie-ins very soon.

How many cards will be in the set?

Based on the cards revealed so far, it looks as though there will be 128 main set cards. The number of secret rares and Classic collection have no be revealed yet.

Will the 30th Anniversary set include reprints of vintage cards?

So far the only reprint cards officially announced are the Base set Charizard as well as the Pikachu & Zekrom Tag Team card. The cards shown in the initial teaser included the Pikachu from Base set, Charizard from Base set, Palkia Lv.X from Great Encounters, Lugia from Aquapolis, Uxie from Legends Awakened, Darkrai & Cresselia Legend from Triumphant, Pikachu & Zekrom from Team Up, Raikou from Vivid Voltage, Zacian V from Sword & Shield, and finally Arceus VStar from Brilliant Stars.

These might be the “Classic” of the Anniversary set.
