There is a total of 333 cards in a Journey Together master set and 404 cards in a Grand Master Set (including all promos and variants)

What counts as a complete Journey Together Master Set?

A complete Journey Together Master Set includes 159 regular numbered cards, 143 reverse holo versions, and 31 Secret Rare cards.
Though many people include them, a Master Set typically does not include promos or stamped cards, only what can be pulled from the booster packs.

How many binder pages do I need for a Journey Together Master Set?

Since the Journey Together Master Set has a total of 333 cards you'll need:
✔ 9-Pocket Binder with 19 dual-sided pages
✔ 12-Pocket Binder with 14 dual-sided pages

If you are aiming for a Grand Master Set (404 cards) you’ll need:

Are promos part of a master set?

In short, no. Promos are not officially part of a master set, since they are released separately from the main numbered expansion. However, many collectors choose to add Stamped Promos, Store exclusives, Pre-release promos, Play! Pokémon Stamps, etc. But this is personal preference — or sometimes known as a Grand Master Set.
